For Professionals
Rutgers Cooperative Extension (RCE) staff offer training and resources for professionals in most of New Jersey’s 21 counties. Training includes conferences, seminars, train-the-trainer workshops and consultations about food, nutrition, health and wellness and food safety topics. Many of the seminars or conferences offer professional development credits for teachers, registered dietitians, and family and consumer sciences professionals. RCE is approved by the NJ Department of Education to provide continuing education credits to teachers.
RCE resources include Get Moving - Get Healthy NJ activity kits available for loan, fact sheets, and curricula. Contact your local Rutgers
Cooperative Extension office and talk to the Family and Community Health Sciences Educator or County 4-H Agent about your needs and what is available in your county.
