Things Youth Can Do Now
- Walk to and from school with your friends
- Be an active participant in gym class instead of sitting on the sidelines
- Help with the yard work or cleaning the house
- Walk around the zoo, aquarium or amusement park
- Take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood three times a day
- Play group games outside after school with your friends (tag, soccer, volleyball, football)
- Play in the pool for a couple of hours
- Listen to your favorite CD and dance the entire time
- Join a local sports/athletic team
- Walk to and from your friend’s house
