Things Youth Can Do Now
  • Walk to and from school with your friends
  • Be an active participant in gym class instead of sitting on the sidelines
  • Help with the yard work or cleaning the house
  • Walk around the zoo, aquarium or amusement park
  • Take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood three times a day
  • Play group games outside after school with your friends (tag, soccer, volleyball, football)
  • Play in the pool for a couple of hours
  • Listen to your favorite CD and dance the entire time
  • Join a local sports/athletic team
  • Walk to and from your friend’s house
